I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from the same university at the Urbana-Champaign campus. I began my career as an electrical design engineer working for various companies including a military contractor, Northrop and an assortment of consumer companies such as Zenith, VariLite and Prescolite to name a few. This work has allowed my family and me to live in northern and central Illinois as well as the Dallas, Texas area.
My real estate education began when I worked as a residential home appraiser in Destin, Florida. From there I began investing in real estate when we moved to Texas and it continues to this day here in Madison. I have been on both the buyer and seller side of the table many times and have looked at properties from the perspective of an owner! This background gives me a unique perspective – both analytical and practical. I believe I can afford you that same unique perspective. Please allow me to walk you through the sometimes intimidating, but exciting, buying and selling process and see through my eyes some of the items that you may need to address.
I continually develop my real estate knowledge by attending workshops and seminars and continuing to read books on the subject. I am eCertified, a member of the National Association of Realtors®, member of the Wisconsin Realtors® Association and a member of Realtors® Association of South Central Wisconsin.
When not working I enjoy hiking, biking and downhill skiing. I have earned my first degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and am now a cheerleader for my daughter as she progresses towards her Black Belt.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
